Community Action Looking for Volunteers?

Among the College's 8,000 students and 1,200 staff are numerous volunteers with a wide range of skills and interests. So, whether you are looking for volunteers for a one-off event or are seeking to fill a regular volunteer opportunity, we may be able to help. Currently we have over 900 regsitered volunteers.

There are several ways we partner and support local organisations looking for volunteers...

Partners Guide To VolunteeringCommunity Partner Registration

If you are a local charity, not-for-profit or community organisation requiring volunteers then Royal Holloway's Community Action office would like to hear from you. To become a Community Partner you will need to register as an organisation with Community Action. We will profile you on our Community Partners webpage, keep communication with you regarding volunteers available, offer assistance with CRB disclosures and invitations to promote your volunteer opportunities such as our annual Volunteering Fair in the Students' Union and partner introduction sessions on campus during our annual Get Involved week.

We endeavour to confirm whether we have suitable volunteers registered with us. If we don't have suitable candidates registered, we will advertise your opportunity among students and staff. The more specific the information you supply, the easier it will be to find suitable volunteers. It would also be helpful if you could give the Community Action Office as much notice of your volunteer requirements as possible.

Further information for organisations is available in our Partners Guide To Volunteering which can be downloaded.

If you would like to involve Royal Holloway volunteers in the work of your organisation, then please complete and submitt the Community Partner registration form
